Annise Maguire
Annise Maguire is an attorney who has spent her career helping organizations navigate risk at the intersection of law, business, and global impact. She began litigating and advising on environmental and regulatory matters, focusing on Latin America, before moving into environmental transactional law. As the conversation expanded from environmental risk to broader questions of climate and environmental justice, her work evolved as well, positioning her as a trusted advisor on sustainability and ESG before it became mainstream.
Annise has held roles at an international environmental NGO, a Fortune 500 company, and as a senior attorney at some of the world’s largest law firms. In 2024, she relocated to France, where she founded GLISS—the Global Incubator for Sustainability Services. She convenes senior sustainability leaders from across sectors and geographies for highly curated, invitation-only gatherings that blend strategic collaboration and reflection.
